Renal Healthcare Association

The National Renal Administrators Association (NRAA) is now the Renal Healthcare Association, Supporting Dialysis Facilities and Professionals.

The Renal Healthcare Association can trace its roots back to 1977 when a group of Administrators established a network to exchange information and best practices. By the early 1980s, this group responded to regulations and reimbursement legislation imposed by Congress and Medicare. The Composite Rate Payment establishment in 1983 continued to demonstrate the need for the Association to provide educational and networking opportunities and work in unison on Congressional and Medicare issues.
