ADC Policies

Social Media Policy

ADC welcomes live-tweeting and sharing of ADC meeting content (such as slides, posters, and exhibitor information) on social media as a way to share information throughout social networks. The official ADC hashtag is #AnnualDialysis and we encourage participants to include it in all tweets related to the conference.

If a speaker does not wish to have his/her presentation or research shared via Twitter, Facebook, or other social networks, the speaker should make an announcement before, and during, the presentation. Speakers should be aware that most ADC events are open to the news media.

ADC strongly encourages compliance with speaker requests regarding social media sharing but cannot guarantee adherence.

Photography and Audio/Video Policy

Participants are permitted to take photographs at ADC for non-commercial purposes. Participants are also permitted to record or livestream audio/video at ADC for non-commercial purposes. If a speaker does not wish to have his/her presentation or research photographed, livestreamed, or audiotaped/videotaped, the speaker should make an announcement before, and during, the presentation.

ADC strongly encourages compliance with speaker requests regarding photography, audio/video recording, and livestreaming, but cannot guarantee adherence.
